with the woop of connection to modern performing artists.

Yuko Nishikawa
Nishkawa School of Classical Japanese Dance Master and Dancer
She is the artistic director of Yuko no Kai, and has performed for En no Kai, NHK, and several mainstage performances of the National Theater.
Since 2014 she has been hosting events such as Yuko no Shiori and her training group Nihonbuyo no Irodori at her Nishikawa School studio to spread the tradition of Japanese Dance. Some of her main works of choreography are Izutsu, Arabesque, Kazeya, and Dojoji.
She is a judge of the Nihon Buyo Foundation, part time professor at Kawamura Gakuen Woman’s University, coach of the Ohtsuma Nihon Buyo Club, board member of NPO Association for Education of Japanese Traditional Performing Arts MUSUBINOKAI, and board member of Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin alumni association KAEDENOKAI.
